Famous Royal Navy Volunteer Tap Takeover

King Street, Bristol // 29th Jan

As you may have noticed if you’ve been reading a few of these posts we’re having a bit of a tap takeover palooza for the end of Jan all over the shop. It would be remiss of us to leave out our fellow Bristolians so we are delighted to say we’ll be having the most lines of all of them rocking in an Arborian fashion for our lovely local peeps at the awesome Navy Volunteer a la King Street.

Eight cask, ten keg, two brewers and a joker or two that loiter round the brewery* all piling into one of the best beery venues in town for an evening of Beer Pong, chat and one strongly suspects quaffing (but with less spillages).

*please read ‘joker’ as highly valued team members

The Bottle Shop Tap Takeover

bottleshop

Having drunk our fair share of fabulous beer on the Bermondsey Mile it was – and is – our very great pleasure to be invited for one day only to the lovely Bottle Shop on Druid Street.

Expect many delicious beers on draught and also the chance at a ticket for a bottle tasting of some absolute treats with Jon our head brewer. Said treats will include some absolute crackers including our one off collab with Hopcraft, Argy Bargy, a Black Barleywine we’ve been aging for almost a year, Double Dark Alliance our bi annually brewed hoppy, coffee Imperial Stout collab with Moor and several other treats. Jon will also be there generally propping up the bar, taking in a few select beers in a sedate and dignified fashion, and generally making merry so please bob down and say hello!

Port Street Beer House Birthday Partay!

Manchester 28th Jan

We like Port Street Beer House. We like the beer selection. We like the people. We like the vibe. Over the years we’ve been involved in several events to do with the beer house and it’s awesome festival Indy Man Beer Con so it was a pleasure to do a birthday collab and a double pleasure to have the peeps down for a visit and a few beers. The birthday beer we made was the PSBH Bomb, our classic pale Bomb grist hopped, hopped and hopped again with Pacific Gem, Summit, Bravo and Mount Hood – see what we did there – so a lovely medley of US and NZ hops in a 4.7% golden ale. It’ll be on the bar on the 28th with the other four collabs the PSBH folks have brewed especially for their fifth birthday. Select members of the Arbor team will be there propping up the bar and we hope to see you then!
